Toronto Music Camp

The Toronto Music Camp offfers the experience of a musician's world to young and aspiring teens. Youth have an opportunity to join a band under the instruction of qualified teachers, learn cover tunes, write original ones, record at professional studios and perform on stage in front of full audiences every week!

Rock Camp: This is TMC's most popular summer program. Every week there is a number of rock bands who jam, attend workshops, record at Studio 92 and perfom live each Friday. Each band averages five young musicians who collaborate for a whole week and take the spotlight on Friday. And it doesn't end there! The TMC invites and books venues for its rock bands throughout the year while it develops their band name and logo! Check last year's recordings here

Drum and Percussion Band Program: This is an extremely popular summer program for  all young and aspiring drummers and percussionists. Working with some high end Gretsch drum sets, congas, bongos and dumbeks the result of the music created is simply stunning! The whole team of drummers explores different tunes, rhythmes and styles of music while it is accompanied by a professional saxophone player. The drum ensemble also gets a day at Studio 92 to lay down 1-2 tracks and performs live on stage every Friday.

Voice Ensemble: This program was created for the young singer in mind. The ensemble consists of 3-5 vocalists who explore different styles of music, record at studio and put a show on Friday. The group is also accompanied by live music. This program focuses on technique, interpreation and stage presence.

Junior Camp Program ( Ages: 7-12) The summer can be the perfect introduction to the world of music for all young.... Mozarts. It is designed for children with minimal or no music experience and with the intention to ispire and make the little ones. Attending drum circles, singing, getting introduced to the sounds of piano, guitar and drums are some of the activities throughout the week. This program also involves a considerable amount of physical activities as we engage in fun games at the park, visit a local studio for our first song recording and get front row seats at the rock concert on Friday
