A ministry of the American Baptist Churches of Oregon, Arrah Wanna serves people of all ages by providing the perfect backdrop for a variety of large and small group gatherings.  Traditional camping experiences for children and youth (spring, summer, fall and winter camps), adult retreats, team-building seminars, family reunions, special needs, school-group outings, sports’ teams camps –  these are just a few of the types of groups that call Arrah Wanna “home” each year. Our handicap accessible facilities are perfect for any of your program needs.

A ministry of the American Baptist Churches of Oregon since 1941, Camp Arrah Wanna is located just off Hwy 26 at the western base of Mt. Hood in Northern Oregon. Our 132 acres of native forest are bounded by the Salmon River and the Wildwood Recreation Area, providing an exquisite backdrop from which to leave the cares of the world behind. Just under an hour’s drive from downtown Portland, Arrah Wanna is the perfect location for your next camp, conference, retreat, family reunion or company event.

Primarily serving the non-profit community, Arrah Wanna is available for rental year-round and it is our goal to make you feel at home while you are here with us. Due to our variety of lodging and meal options, we can accommodate groups as small as 10 and as large as 273. We have many activities on-site which can fill your day as much, or as little, as you would like. From our high ropes challenge course to the simple serenity of a hike along the river, you are sure to find just what you need to leave your retreat feeling refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated after your stay here with us.
