Welcome BSA Ingawanis Adventure Base, where we provide quality camping and outdoor experiences for Scouting and the local community. Our camp prides itself with an outstanding program, excellent facilities, and an amazing staff.
Ingawanis Adventure Base is for everyone - Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing Crews; youth groups, retirement homes, physically/mental disabled groups, church groups, schools, college clubs and organizations. Having 11 full-time horses and direct access to the Cedar River, we host tent and cabin camping, horseback rides, canoe floats, trail hikes, mountain bike rides, training sessions, dinners, weddings, birthday parties, swimming parties, and other activities. Wooded rolling hills and winding trails at Ingawanis Adventure Base provide a challenging place to hike, or for the less adventurous you can walk the easy trails or the camp roads.
Winnebago Council covers 17 counties in north east Iowa including Black Hawk, Grundy, Butler, Franklin, Wright, Hancock, Winnebago, Worth, Cerro Gordo, Mitchell, Floyd, Bremer, Chickasaw, Howard, Winneshiek, Fayette, and Buchanan.
The Character Education programs of the Winnebago Council, Boy Scouts of America provides character education, moral and physical fitness, and leadership development to all youth members and participants of our programs. Programs focus on youth first grade through age 21 in encouraging them to achieve their full potential. Programs are offered after school, weekends, before school and during school.
