Description"We, the former members of The Boys' Club of New York, realizing the problems that face the boys of our community, do hereby join ourselves in an organization for the furtherance of the work of the club, which we feel is one of the institutions of our city best suited by tradition and potentialities to meet the needs of the boys." The Alumni Association consists of men who were members of The Boys' Club of New York who now volunteer their time and raise important and critical funds for our current operating expenses. These men grew up in the communities served by The Boys’ Club and have made significant contributions to improving the lives of the children who have depended on The Boys' Club of New York for generations. Built in 1917 on the corner of 10th Street and Avenue A, this 64,000 square foot building provides a safe haven for approximately 300 boys per day from an annual membership of 1,500 different boys. The Harriman Clubhouse also houses the Agency's Administrative Offices. Details
