It isn't difficult to see that the movies and media have had great success in warping the minds of young people. During Student Impact Week `09, we're looking forward to what God's going to do in renewing the minds and hearts of His students.
With the week's Bible studies and messages focused around Matthew 7:15-20, students will be challenged to develop an understanding of how to distinguish God's facts from the world's fiction, and "good fruit" from "bad fruit".
With experienced, Christian college students leading the age-graded, small group Bible study sessions, students will be encouraged to challenge the stereotypes and norms that the world puts up as truth. As part of each study, properly edited movie clips will be used to present real-life and relevant situations and choices. These clips will be followed by hands-on opportunities for each individual student to:
