DescriptionCamp Tavor is small by design, with a maximum of 150 campers per session, a 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, and a strong commitment to an inclusive community. Habonim-Dror Camp Tavor is the ideal place to develop lasting friendships. Boys and girls entering grades 4-10 can attend two- three- four- or seven-week overnight camping sessions. Those entering grade 11 can travel to Israel with our National Movement. Campers entering grade 12 can spend the whole summer at camp developing and using leadership skills in our Madatz program. Camp Tavor offers the traditional swimming, boating, arts, crafts, and sports that other overnight camps have, plus Hebrew, a kosher kitchen, and Shabbat celebrations that other Jewish camps offer. But we’re far from traditional. We’ve got animals and an organic garden. We pride ourselves in helping the local community. We keep up with the news and politics in Israel, and we have so much fun that most of our campers return year after year!
