That’s why the Center for Family Development is dedicated to promoting the purpose and value of marriage and the family. The CFD serves families by reinforcing and supporting their true identity through a variety of faith-based programs that provide concrete tools to enrich and strengthen family life, and educate Catholics to be apostles for the family in the culture.

Our Mission

The Center for Family Development (CFD) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to enriching and strengthening family life in the community.  Under the direction of the Legionaries of Christ, the CFD addresses the needs of the modern family through quality faith-based programs that offer tools for husbands, wives, parents, and children to become stronger family members who can unite for a better society.

The Center for Family Development is under the direction of the Legionaries of Christ, a Roman Catholic congregation of priests founded in 1941. Active in twenty countries on five continents, The Legionaries serve the Church by preparing and motivating lay Catholics to take an active part in the Church’s mission: to love Christ and to live their Catholic faith to the fullest.
