Quaker Meadow Christian Camp, since it’s establishment in 1939 by Evangelical Friends, has had as its primary purpose the winning and training of youth and adults for Jesus Christ and His Church. Quaker Meadow is located at an elevation of 7,200 feet in the Sequoia National Forest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Southcentral California, approximately 45 miles east of Porterville. The Camp is nestled among majestic Giant Sequoias and has offered 60 years of the Christian camping experience for all ages.

Here at Quaker Meadow we try hard to provide an atmosphere of learning and recreation. The splendor of God’s creation is the perfect setting to meditate on God’s word and worship him for the wonderful God that he is. Quaker Meadow is a wonderful place to renew your relationship with Christ and draw closer to Him or to make a first time commitment to Jesus Christ. Either way there is no better time to do it and Quaker Meadow offers a nurturing environment for it.



Quaker Meadow Camp has something for everyone. On a personal level it offers many the opportunity to fellowship with other Christians and grow closer to God. Quaker Meadow also has a variety of enjoyable outdoor activities to participate in. It has a small lake, a swimming pool, hiking trails, a climbing wall, a rappelling station, a zip line, crafts, and other outdoor recreation opportunities.



The camp sits among 200 foot fir trees and a few Giant Sequoias. There are few places that compare to the natural setting of Quaker Meadow’s tall firs, flowering meadows, crisp, clear starry nights and majestic Sequoias.



Each year Quaker Meadow Camp offers a complete summer and winter camp experience. During the summer, camps for all ages are offered: Family Camps, Junior Camps, Junior High Camps, High School Camps, Inner City Camps, and Adult Camps. There are also dates during the summer that are available for summer rental.



Summer Camp groups can be accommodated up to 300 people. Quaker Meadow Camp also offers a host of dates during the winter that are open for winter rental by medium groups of up to 150 people. The winter camps offer the campers the unique opportunity to marvel in the beautiful snow covered landscape of Quaker Meadow.
