Riverside organized as a church in the Riverside area near downtown Miami on October 13, 1921. The church remained downtown for over fifty years and experienced tremendous growth through the 1960's. A demographic shift in the late 1960's caused a decline in church membership and the congregation faced the difficult decision of moving from its downtown location into the suburb of Kendall, our present location, in 1974.



Today, Riverside is a multi-cultural congregation whose members come from many nations speaking various languages. We are a microcosm of our community and we are devoted to reaching our community and city for Christ, one person at a time.
