Established in 1946 by the area Baptist Brotherhood, Heart of Texas Baptist Camp and Conference Center is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Brownwood, surrounded by lovely Live Oak trees with fine accomodations, staff and scenery. The camp's founding mission statement is: "To provide accommodations and facilities for the use of God's people for winning the lost, edifying of the Saints, and magnifying the calling of those whom God has called." Our facilities will provide the perfect spiritual setting for your event. Adult groups, senior adult groups, men, ladies, youth groups and families find the facilities and atmosphere necessary for specialized programs.

Come, stay overnight in one of the lodges or private rooms. Overnight retreats offer a special time to enjoy the fellowship of each other. Watch the sunsets and sunrises, have prayer walks around the camp or water front, or just fish off the bank of Lake Brownwood. Serving our guests is our priority. We strive to provide quality meals as well as clean and well maintained facilities. The environment that HOTBC provides will encourage spiritual, emotional and physical development. Our camp staff is here to serve you, our guests, and take care of your physical needs so God can speak to your spiritual needs while at HOTBC.Heart of Texas Baptist Camp and Conference Center is open and accepting reservations year round.
