DescriptionNew Hampshire has a long and rich tradition in camping, extending back over 100 years, and continues to be the location of some of the finest camps and facilities in America. Our beautiful mountains, lakes, forests and fields are ideally suited for every camping activity imaginable. Our Camps Directory lists some 80 organized camps which are members of the NHCDA. Each member camp is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and is inspected annually by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. We have an excellent working relationship with our regulators with the mutual goal of providing safe, superb camping. We look forward to welcoming you to New Hampshire and hope that this website will be of help to you in researching your camping needs. Campers can choose activities through out their day, from swimming and boating to arts and craft, nature study, hiking, shooting sports, drama and singing, or a variety of sports and games. Campers are given the chance to chose 3-4 activities per day, as well as participate in group and all-camp activities. Nightly campfires, family style meals, and platform tents have been part of the Camp Wiyaka tradition since 1921. Details
