What a year 2008 was for Lake Swan Camp!  God has demonstrated His provisions for the

Camp.  Thank you for standing by us with your support and your prayers!  Our successful

year could not have been possible without you.

As we take a look back over 2008, we praise the Lord for His mercy and grace.  Not only

were lives touched and hearts restored, but the camp began a new chapter.  This past

year saw the end of Lake Swan being operated by our supporting church.  Through this

change, we have been blessed to witness God’s provisions!  We are now an independent

Christian camp, operated by The Friends of Lake Swan, Inc.  A group that God brought

into existence almost two years ago, Friends is a blessing as we begin another year in

God’s service.  Please pray for the camp and Friends as we begin this new year!

We want to extend to you the opportunity to support us by joining Friends of Lake Swan. 

You can become a vital part of the success of Lake Swan Camp.  First, we need prayer

warriors; those who will commit to praying for Lake Swan Camp and the ongoing ministry

here.  Second, we need those who will commit some of their time and labor into

conducting work projects (contact the office for work dates or check out the list below for

possible group projects).  Third, we are in need of everyday items (check out the list

below).  As we go forth in the Lord's service, we thank you for your time and support.

In addition to the prayer, work projects, and items mentioned above, we need those who

will commit a little of their resources so together we can rebuild Lake Swan Camp into a

modern facility.  We are seeking to break away from the monthly fundraising requests. 

For those who have responded to our past requests, THANK YOU, for it has been your

faithful giving that has allowed us to help bring Lake Swan Camp to the place it is today. 

Accordingly, and in light of the economic times, we are launching an annual March

membership drive.
