You're visiting a place of hope! We are Peoria's oldest rescue ministry, serving the poor since 1925.  Our mission is "to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor, and in His name to love, feed, house, clothe, and teach all those people He sends to us."

From our homeless shelter to youth ministries & career training, we are changing the future for thousands of people each year by bringing to life the awesome love of Christ.  Caring for the poorest of our community, younger and older, we become the hands and feet of God; offering what they need and earning the right to share our Savior.

Each week, Senior Pastor Frank Winfrey shares news of the mission and his heart with central Illinois through The Open Door radio program broadcast on WPEO.  Click here for the current podcast.

Just because we were born in 1925 doesn't mean we can't be cutting edge!  To see some of our greatest hits, please visit our YouTube page!  Catch up with me on Facebook, or, read all about it in our blog!
