Description
Sparkling waters. Breathtaking sunsets. Trails leading to extraordinary adventures. Nestled on 170 acres of spectacular lakefront, overnight campers stay in comfortable, newly-renovated cabins with modern bathrooms. We take full advantage of the lake and 1,000 acres of national forest that surround our camp. Nissokone is perfect for getting out in nature to adventure and play.
Our programs are taught with the four values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Activities include: archery, sports, a skate park, air riflery, high ropes course, theater & drama, climbing wall, paintball, fencing, Ga-Ga, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, campfires, and more. Our extensive waterfront programs include: swim lessons, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, tubing behind the speed boat, water skiing and wakeboarding.
A variety of camp options are available, including Overnight Camp, Adventure Camps, Day Camp, Teen Leadership Camp and excellent Family Camps (Labor Day and Memorial Day)
