Camp SWONEKY provides a respite from the world, enabling individiuals to refocus their lives and priorities.  Whether families are touched by AIDS or divorce, whether they are poor in money or poor in spirit, or whether they simply need a break from their hectic pace of life, they find relief at Camp SWONEKY.  And they find hope!  Many also find a calling, returning to Camp SWONEKY year after year as staff members, counselors, and volunteers.



Camp SWONEKY is owned and operated by The Salvation Army, one of the largest charitable and service organizations in the world.  The Salvation Army has been in existence since 1865, supporting those in need without discrimination.



During the summer months, we offer summer camping programs for campers ages 6-12 and during the off-season (September-May), we rent out our facilities to various user groups.
