Since opening in 1959, Camp Lawrence has been home to over 40,000 children from as close as Valparaiso, Indiana to as far as Texas and Alaska, as well as from around the world.

Open to children ages seven to fourteen, this resident camp has enabled youth to experience the wonders of the great outdoors in a Catholic Christian environment. Through the guidance of trained counselors, the youth grow physically, intellectually and spiritually as they share adventures sitting by the campfire, going on a nature hike, swimming, creating works of art, plus playing sports and so much more.

Camp Lawrence is very proud to be a member of the American Camp Association.  For the parent or guardian of a camper, this means that we have met or exceeded the high standards this association requires of its members.  This is important since it proves that Camp Lawrence has both submitted documentation to as well as has received an inspection visit from ACA trained staff.  It means that Camp Lawrence is a place that you can send your child with confidence that she or he is attending one of the finest camps in our country.  We at Camp are proud of our ACA certification and committed to continue to striving  to improve our Camp and the camping experience of the youth who come to us.
