DescriptionCamp Wamatochick is a place of friends. A place where kids always discover something new. A place where no kid is overlooked. A place where kids feel safe. Camp Wamatochick is a place you'll love. Camp Wamatochick is located on 80 acres in the Prescott National Forest. Surrounded by tall pines and huge granite boulders, Camp Wamatochick has been providing outstanding camping experiences since 1924. The Camp Fire presence in Arizona was first felt in 1913, making it one of the oldest non-profit organizations in the state. Since that time, Camp Fire-Arizona has evolved from a summer camp for girls to an organization that annually affects over 10,000 boys and girls from all social and economic levels. Over this period, Camp Fire has provided essential educational and social service programs for youth and families throughout the Greater Phoenix Valley. In these challenging times, these programs have become more important than ever and Camp Fire has stepped up to the plate.
