parade_signCamp Harmattan was established in 1955. It is a Christian camping ministry, with close affiliation to the Canada West District Church of the Nazarene. Camp Harmattan is managed by an Executive Director and a governing board that consists of individuals that are passionate about the ministry of the camp.  The board makes decisions and policies that keep the ministry and operation of the camp vibrant and effective.



Camp Harmattan is a not-for-profit charitable organization that relies on the generous financial support of donors.



Camp Harmattan is an active member of Christian Camping International/Canada. This organization dedicates resources to train and support leaders in the Christian camping ministry. Led by a board of experienced individuals (often camp directors themselves), this group is committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Christian camping.

Our annual family camp is an event that brings many from far and wide!  We have great activities for every age group and many exciting events for the whole family to enjoy together!  Swimming, raft races, great music, zipline, crafts, inspirational life-changing messages, great food, and much much more!
