Camp Sancta Maria offers young men ages 8 to 16, a summer full of fun, personal growth, and spiritual development. Built on this strong foundation, our staff serves by teaching, leading, and sharing a sense of wonder with the boys. Our 96 wooded acres in the heart of Northern Lower Michigan is the perfect setting for such a close-knit community. We invite you to face the challenge of leadership and experience CSM, a tradition since 1933.

We take very seriously our role in the process of the formation of young Christian lives. The daily Mass has remained the center-piece of the camp day since CSM's first camping season.

More than anything though, it is the example and the values that our campers see represented by the actions of our counselors that they are asked to emulate. This truly shows the action of a Catholic, living out his faith. However, we work hard to ensure that campers of all faiths feel welcome at CSM.

As a community, we are indebted to the vision and dedication of our founder, Msgr. Maurice Chawke, who's mission was to provide 'Wholesome Recreation in a Religious Atmosphere'. This mission remains the vision we hold true today.
