Situated on a peninsula overlooking beautiful Lake Brownwood, wonderful views abound from sunrise to sunset. Our natural, wooded setting inspires and moves individuals to grow in their spiritual relationship. With our walking trails, prayer garden, outdoor worship area, camp fire circle, sports complex and water activities, everyone is sure to find their little piece of heaven on earth.

The cross is at the center of Lake Brownwood Christian Retreat, reminding us that Christ is the center of all we do. Groups gather around the Friendship Circle to open and close their camps, holding hands, singing songs and joining in prayer.

Vespers is the holy place of LBCR. Groups often gather here for sunrise worship or closing praise service. Individuals love the peaceful outdoor sanctuary for quiet meditation or personal reflection. It is a favorite for many since it's natural setting overlooks the water and truly has one of the best views on Lake Brownwood.

Each lodge accommodates 48 people with dorm style sleeping. The lodge has two bunk rooms that sleep 24 people each with a common area for meetings or relaxation. There are separate shower and toilet facilities for each side of the building.

Each dorm has four sleeping areas that will hold 10 people with a total capacity of 40. Each sleeping area also has it's own restroom and shower facility. The center common area has two restroom and shower facilities, including handicap access. For smaller group meetings of 20 or less, the common area is an ideal meeting place. Overlooking Lake Brownwood, the porches are the perfect spot for quiet meditation or relaxing in the shade.
