Description

The Life CENTER is home to the dining hall, the camp office and our two largest meeting spaces.  The large conference room and dining room have vaulted, open-rafter ceilings that are separated by a huge double-sided fire place.  A recent addition to the building is a multi-tier deck that looks out over the heart of the camp surrounded by mountains.Set against a backdrop of the national forest and two magnificent waterfalls in the Northeast Georgia Mountains, Life Teen Covecrest offers the perfect place for groups and individuals to retreat, relax, and connect with God. At Covecrest, you will find an ideal balance of tranquility and activity. Reflection and quiet time are readily available at the 100-year-old chapel, in the outdoor Stations of the Cross, in Mike’s Place  prayer garden, on the bank next to the waterfalls, or on the deck overlooking the lake with the mountains in the background.

When it is time for activity, Covecrest offers high and low ropes challenge courses, a two-sided climbing wall, a zip line, a giant swing, basketball and sand volleyball courts, hiking trails and playing fields.

Life Teen Covecrest hosts Summer Camp throughout June and July and operates as full-service retreat facility from August to May. With a variety of lodging and meeting space options, Covecrest is great for retreat groups of all sizes, all ages and all denominations. Facilities include heated and air-conditioned lodging, spacious meeting rooms and quality meal plans. Learn more about our retreat rates.

Covecrest is an absolutely wonderful place to go. We spent almost a week and I cried when I left. I never met a person I didn't love there. Every person on staff or volunteer displayed such a Godly and generous attitude. It seemed like a little piece of heaven. I cried because I'll probably never see most of them again and that made me sad. Mary Jo
