D-E Summer Connections' course offerings in Math, Science, and English, for students entering grades 9 through 12, allow students to get an introduction or advance in a specific field of study. Introduction courses give students the chance to familiarize themselves with topics that will be covered during the school year. Advancement courses provide students with the chance to get ahead in their studies by providing a full year course during the summer. Due to their nature, students may take two introductory courses but only one advanced course. Students should expect 1 to 2 hours of homework for every introduction course, and 2 to 4 hours of homework for advancement courses. A guidance counselor’s signature is required prior to enrollment.
