Golden Lake Camp is committed to being an affordable option for every family whose children would like to enjoy a quality camping experience. As a result, we keep our basic rates as low as possible, we build in an automatic discount for your second or third child, we offer a layaway option, and, if you require financial assistance beyond all of that, we will work with you to find a rate that will suit your situation. No child is ever turned away for financial reasons. See details below.

Golden Lake Camp is one of three summer camps within the Bay of Quinte Conference of the United Church of Canada. The camp is located twenty minutes west of Eganville on the shores of Golden Lake. Junior camps are for children aged 8-11. Our rates (regular or adjusted or layaway) suit every situation.

Our regular program welcomes both boys and girls. Campers stay in cabins with two trained counsellors, and most activities are in cabin groups. Activities include crafts, archery, canoeing, swimming, sports, mountain-climbing, camp-wide games, Discovery Group, Olympics, Talent Night, Tuck Shop, and hanging out with new friends. Each week-long program accommodates 68 children from a variety of church backgrounds, and from none at all. Also on site are several directors and other staff including qualified lifeguards, cooks, and a site manager. Our overall staff-to-camper ratio is better than 1 to 3.
