Description
Woodmen Financial Services, was founded on July 1, 2001, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society and/or Omaha Woodmen Life Insurance Society (Woodmen).
Through surveys, Woodmen of the World identified a growing need for more financial choices and understood the importance of a balanced portfolio that included both insurance and investment products in meeting their members' financial goals. This need, coupled with Woodmen of the World's strong loyalty to its members, was the driving force behind the Society's entry into the investment world through Woodmen Financial Services.
In creating Woodmen Financial Services, the Board of Directors selected Joseph F. Wreschnig as Vice President and COO. Woodmen Financial Services began offering mutual funds on July 1, 2002.
Today, we not only offer mutual funds, but also 529 College Savings Plans and the Woodmen Variable Annuity.

Reviews
One thing to say. Bunk beds in Blountville Al camp have NO SAFETY RAIL on the top bunks. Boys feel out last year and was hurt but still NO SAFETY RAILS

My son and daughter have gone for several years to this camp in Hosford and absolutely love it. IN fact, Chloe Griggs, my daughter is so psyched about being a counselor this year, (her first eligible year). A highlight of both of their summers.

My daughter has gone for two years and loved it both 2010 and 2011. She did say 2010 was better, but came home a "happy camper" both years so to me, it's a success.

Camp Woodmen in VT was great two years ago.
Then they lost their great staff. I sent my child to a local camp last year.
Love Woodmen but they need to keep the good people around and not let them leave.
