Camp Sisol is an ACA Accredited day-camp community that provides new, fun and exciting experiences—guiding children towards independence, confidence, and responsibility. At Camp Sisol we create community through shared experiences, traditions, universal values, and common goals. We strive to give each child the tools they need and foster personal growth by offering a wide range of hands on, developmentally appropriate activities that are FUN!!!
• Lunch, provided in the new Wolk Dining Hall each day, brings Camp Sisol together to share a meal and hear camp news.
• Campers learn about teamwork on the ropes course, in sports, helping in the camp garden, during group time, and simply by being part of cohesive groups of children and counselors.
• Shabbat is celebrated every week with a cookout and a special All Camp Program that brings campers together and centers on fun themes that teach respect for self and others.
• Our highly trained staff provides positive role models helping to guide each camper.
• Riding the bus back and forth to camp each day gives children an opportunity to spend time with friends, maybe singing a few camp songs along the way.
• Nature is in abundance on our 70 acre campus. The pond, creek, hiking trails, woods, and fields allow for endless exploration and many learning opportunities.
• For athletic pursuits, Camp Sisol has basketball and tennis, an archery range, ball fields, and beach volleyball. A new playground also provides campers a chance to climb and play.
• Weekly hobbies allow each camper to choose what interests them from a wide range of specialized, fun and creative activities.
• Red Cross swimming lessons and free-swim time are provided daily.
• The Kesher program allows children with special needs to participate in daily camp activities with support and guidance from specially trained staff.
• Each unit has late-nights, overnights or multi-day trips.
