Camp Akita is a mission of First Community Church, Columbus, Ohio. Located just 45 miles southeast of Columbus, Akita can provide food and lodging to accommodate groups ranging in size from 2 to 200.
Corporate group retreats/meetings, church retreats, school field trips as well as personal retreating are all welcome and easily accommodated in our facilities.
Akita’s 1200 acres, nestled in the heart of the Hocking Hills, features 15 miles of marked hiking trails; a 7-acre lake for fishing, swimming or canoeing; nature sanctuary; ropes challenge course; basketball court; and sand volleyball court. Details
