Camp Soulajule is a residential art and ecology summer camp for 8 to 12 year olds, plus a leadership training
experience for 13 - 15 year olds, operated by the Marin County Outdoor School at Walker Creek Ranch.
An abundance of wildlife, a four-acre swimming pond, 20 miles of hiking trails, a nearby beach, a nature museum, and a
low elements challenge course make the Ranch an idyllic summer camp venue. Many students are familiar with
Walker Creek Ranch as the site of the 5th and 6th grade Outdoor Science School. The focus of Camp Soulajule
is on fun, nature, learning, and an opportunity for campers to prepare themselves for leadership roles. We believe in
creating an environment where children are encouraged to be themselves
while being a part of a supportive community where laughter and respect are embraced.
After over 40 years of serving children in the Marin County Outdoor School, and developing a deep understanding of the incredible transformation that can occur when kids learn and grow in a new and caring environment, away from the familiar surroundings of home and family, Walker Creek Ranch is very excited to offer the Camp Soulajule summer camp program. Located in the heart of West Marin, the Ranch is blessed with 1,741 acres of rolling grassy hills, bay forests, and a four acre swimming pond.
Our supportive staff helps each child have the best possible experience by acknowledging that each camper is an individual with their own strengths and challenges. Campers are encouraged to challenge themselves by experiencing new adventures. Memories are made and friendships are formed while campers hike, swim, boat, explore and play at Camp Soulajule. Children learn group living skills and become more independent by living and bonding with their cabin groups. Click on the links below for further information on Camp Soulajule.
