More than 50 million American women enjoyed Girl Scouting during their childhood — and that number continues to grow as Girl Scouts of the USA continues to inspire, challenge, and empower girls everywhere.

The values of the Girl Scout Movement, as expressed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law, remain the cornerstone of the Girl Scout experience. Girls and adults can rely on the principles found in them to help make decisions or relate to one another.

I will do my best to be honest and fair,

     friendly and helpful,

     considerate and caring,

     courageous and strong, and

     responsible for what I say and do,

and to

     respect myself and others,

     respect authority,

     use resources wisely,

     make the world a better place, and

     be a sister to every Girl Scout.
