Summer Camp San Diego is the ultimate overnight summer camp experience for kids age 11-12.  Small groups of campers will participate in highly interactive adventures which take advantage of San Diego County's diverse outdoor environments. At Juan Tostada's Summer Camp San Diego, campers say goodbye to the large groups and limited activities offered by other summer camps in San Diego County. Our small camper to counselor ratio insures that campers get the maximum BANG for their camping dollar. 

Since 1994, we have offered active, adventurous, and professionally operated overnight summer camps to campers from all over the world. At Summer Camp San Diego our campers take an active role in the successful operation of daily activities. Campers will be immersed in learning what it takes to have a safe, well prepared primitive camping experience and well executed outdoor adventures. From planning of daily adventures to setting up camp and preparing meals, campers have the ability to decide what happens at Summer Camp San Diego. 

Summer Camp San Diego is the brainchild of John Haigler who has 20+ years experience in the S.D. County Outdoor Education Program. John, aka JuanTostada, along with his professional staff of naturalists, offer a highly active and adventurous experience that kids will never forget. All of our staff work at Fox Outdoor School, with the San Diego County Office of Education Outdoor Education Program. If your kids had fun when they came to Camp Fox, they will have a blast at Summer Camp San Diego.

We are expecting to offer four sessions this summer from mid July to mid Aug. Sessions run from Monday to Friday afternoon.  We've started accepting applications and will keep registration open until the end of June.
