Description

The town of Park City wasn’t always known for its snow. Around 1884, it was actually known for its silver mining. Now you can learn about Park City’s intriguing mining town past with our guided, historic on-mountain tours.

Ski or ride past some of Park City’s countless historic mining buildings with your expert tour guide. Learn how many of the runs got their names. Hear some of the stories behind the authentic structures you see on the mountain. You’ll also learn about our recent history such as the 2002 Winter Olympics and ski some of the very same runs that the Olympians did.

Daily tours meet at the Eagle Statue in the Resort Plaza at 10 a.m. and at the Summit Demo Center at 1:30 p.m.
