Camp Albemarle – a place for fun, a place for fellowship, a place for God.



In this busy world in which we live, we need space and a place for developing spiritually - a place to get away and think deeply about our lives and our relationship with our Creator. Camp Albemarle is such a place – a “thin place”, a place to get away from all the distractions of our lives - where we feel closer to God. We sense God’s presence in deliberate study and contemplation, and we sense His presence in the beauty of a sunset on Bogue Sound.



So whether you are a camper in our summer camp program, a young person looking to make a difference in the world by serving on our staff, or a person or group looking for a place to step away from their busy lives to grow and learn together, Camp Albemarle is the place for you!

Camp Albemarle is the ideal place for church retreats, private parties, school seminars or family reunions. Although the summer months are occupied with our summer camping program, our facilities are available to groups during late summer, fall, winter and spring. Each of our six heated cabins sleep 16 in bunk beds and are divided for accommodating boys and girls. If you stay in our cabins, you will use our modern ceramic tiled bathhouse. You will have access to our commercially equipped kitchen and the large dining hall.
