Description
We have lived here on this ranch for over 30 years. We have raised cattle and guided hunters in same area all this time. We went through the mule deer boom in late 50's, 60's, and 70's. Back then it was not uncommon to take 6 or 8 hunters, and harvest four or more 30" bucks. There were no elk here then. Elk began moving in from White River area, and in 1986 one of our hunters took a 5 point bull. We had taken some before that time, but it was on north end of mountain and I didn't guide hunters there then. Last year our hunters took over 20 bulls, and nearly everyone with a deer tag harvested a respectable buck. The mule deer herd has rebounded good in last 3 years, and we are seeing and harvesting some nice bucks. The elk herd seems to have stabilized, and with the 4-point restriction we are seeing more good six point bulls every year. Most of our hunting is between 7500 and 9000 feet in elevation. We built a new lodge in 1996, and our clients seem very satisfied with the accommodation
We are big game outfitters in western Colorado, hunting for mule deer, elk, and bear. We have approximately 10,000 acres of private land we hunt. We guide and provide full accommodations for our clients. We have been in the Guide business for over 30 years, and many of our hunters are repeat customers. Come hunt with us, and we think you will be very satisfied.
