Description

Fun activities, making friends, playing in the great outdoors, learning new skills...these are the building blocks of a great camp experience. We’ve been entertaining and educating camp kids for almost 20 years with our impressive range of facilities and planned activities. Our camp is safe, clean, and meticulously organized.

Whether the day is sunny or overcast, our Cedardale team keeps youngsters happily engaged. From the time they arrive by bus to the moment they depart each afternoon, kids are supervised, cared for, and nourished. Our Red Cross-certified lifeguards and swim instructors make pooltime safe. Counselors occupy campers with traditional arts and crafts, team challenges, “theme” events, and many other activities. Creative programs enrich kids individually and in groups, encouraging positive social skills development. Our camper / counselor ratio insures each child plenty of personal attention. You’ll see the progress in action on parents night . And Camp Director Kelsa McDermott is always available to address concerns of campers and their parents.

  • a healthy, nutritious lunch is prepared in our own kitchens and served daily to all campers. Afternoon snacks are also part of each day’s agenda.

  • our 25’ x 50’ Arts & Crafts building is a popular hive of activity, dedicated to projects including clay, leather, gimp, papier mache, woodburning, beads, jewelry-making, etc. Kids proudly to show off their handiwork and the new skills they’ve mastered.

  • immaculate swimming, wading, and water volleyball pools are a highlight of camp life, supervised by Red-Cross-certified lifeguards. We teach swimming, lifesaving, even swim team training in waterfront programs for every age and skill level. Participants assemble by gender and age group for assignment to proper changing room facilities.

  •

  • when the sun shines, we play tennis, volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, miniature golf, whiffleball, archery, and water sports. Music and drama classes give kids a chance to shine. Children are always occupied, and get plenty of healthy exercise.

  • when the rain occasionally visits, we retreat to 10,000-square feet of protected indoor space to continue our games and planned programs.
