Treasured Nantucket summers are memories that Murray Camp has been providing to children on Nantucket island, for over two decades. Our camp philosophy focuses on creating an environment where safety, kindness and fun, all flourish. It is the mission of the camp, that every child participating in our programs, experience the opportunity for positive, healthy development. We acknowledge and respect that all children require nurturing through social, emotional, academic and physical enrichments. We strive to provide an atmosphere in which our curriculum and our overall camp environment, encourage this solid foundation. We have earned a reputation for being a nurturing, stimulating, protective, summer camp in which parents have entrusted their children's care for many years. The camp administrators, directly on site with the campers all summer, continues to be it's founders. We hire positive role model staff, many of them, former Murray campers themselves, to inspire children toward a sense of responsibility and fair play. Murray Camp is the perfect place for children to meet new friends and learn from enthusiastic staff. We are proud of the international reputation that our camp has maintained since its founding. In recent years we have welcomed campers from England, Ireland, France, Italy, Mallorca, Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, Germany, the Philippines and Japan.
