DescriptionWe’re here to help you to find work. Change can be stressful but it can also mean excitement, advancement, and opportunity. At Northern Lights Canada, we believe in Real Work, Real People, Real Results, and we want to help you meet your employment goal. This might mean getting you back to work quickly. It might mean guiding you toward a new career. Or it might be as simple as showing you a few tools to make your task easier. We’ll help you determine the programs and services you may want to explore to help you get back to work. Northern Lights Canada was established in 1985 in response to requests from the Ministry of Community and Social Services (Vocational Rehabilitation Services Program) to provide short-term vocational assessment, training, and job placement services in rural areas of Ontario. Since 1985, we have expanded our referral base to include Employment Ontario, Service Canada, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Ontario, Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) Alberta, Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) - Employment Supports Program of the Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS), Ontario Works, insurance companies, doctors, lawyers, other private rehabilitation companies, and transfer payment agencies.
