Description

We want to invite you to get to know us. Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West has a great history on the Western Slope of the Colorado Rockies!  The ministry has impacted many lives for for Jesus Christ since 1974. Our name comes from a song titled, "I'd Rather Have Jesus". If you take the first two letters from each word of the title, you get Id-Ra-Ha-Je! It is Camp's desire to see all who come through our gates leave with those words in their heart.

Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West exists that all who enter its gates would experience God in a new way. It is our mission that everyone would learn to say the words of the song this camp is named for, "I'd rather have Jesus than anything!" Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West is established for the sole purpose of winning souls to Jesus Christ through the spreading of the gospel, the edifying of believers through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, and the evangelizing of campers through witnessing and missions.

The Camp runs its largest programs during the summer with our residential camps. However, we offer a great deal year-round: spring and fall retreats, a young adult Bible School, rental facilities, and other events.

The Camp is located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, just outside Paonia, CO - on the famous senic Kebler Pass (we are near Aspen, CO and the Mclure Pass / Hwy 133). We offer a scene only God could create; full of woodlands and Aspens, meadows, a river, and mountains, all located nestled in a valley on 52 acres.

God is at work here, and we hope you will let the Lord minister through us to you. The Camp has a great staff, who love the Lord and this ministry. Please consider how we can benefit you, your church or school.
