Aspendale Mountain Retreat Center is nestled in the beautiful Sacramento Mountains.  The cool summer temperature provide a great escape from the summer heat. The fall follage is one of the highlights of all seasons. Winter snows create an exciting winter playground.

Aspendale began it's ministry in the spring of 1958.  El Paso Baptist Association purchased 123 acres five miles from Cloudcroft, New Mexico.  This began over 50 years of mountain top experiences!  The beauty of the Sacramento mountains was the perfect setting for God to work in the hearts of those who came.

As a Christian organization we want our guests to understand that the primary purpose of Aspendale Baptist Encampment is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to strengthen the body of Christ through biblical education, worship, fellowship and recreational activities.  Our policies and guidlines are estabished to support that purpose.
