DescriptionAccreditation: St. Margaret's is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools and the Virginia Association of Independent Schools. Founded in 1921, SMS is one of six Church Schools in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia.
Membership: St.Margaret's is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the National Association of Episcopal Schools, National Coalition of Girls' Schools and many other professional associations. Teaching Faculty: 32, 47 baccalaureate and 25 advanced degrees, 30 faculty and administrators live on campus, 29 women faculty, 6 men faculty.
