DescriptionThe brand new 4,000 square foot Camping and Conference Center was opened in 2008, designed as additional rental facilities for Units needing more comfy camping arrangements. Home to the Council's week-long SciTek Quest Camp each summer, for youth 14-18 to explorer the many areas of science. The center houses three classrooms that open up into a large lecture hall, 6 sleeping rooms to accommodate 32, five complete bathrooms with showers, a kitchen and is climate controlled. There is also an adjacent open pavilion so sessions can be held outdoors. The Seneca Lake Eagle Conference Center is open to groups outside of scouting throughout the year.
Weekends, Friday evening until Sunday noon, during the months of September - May. Contact the council for facilities availability, then send in a Short-Term Camping Application with a $25 security deposit & rental fee for the facilities you wish to rent. Bathrooms - There are toilets located in the shower houses and latrines located throughout camp to accommodate Scouts and Scouters. All camp sites have latrines and running water. Details
