Description

Camp Osoha for girls was established in 1921 by Robert Snaddon "Chief" and his wife Helen "Tayito."  Chief's second wife, Emily Snaddon "Nawahne" assumed directorship upon Chief's death in 1952. In 1975, alumna Linda Porter succeeded Nawahne as director and owner.

Osoha is on Big Muskellunge Lake in northern Wisconsin.  This exceptional lake in the Northern Highland State Forest is located near the town of Boulder Junction, 14 miles north of Minocqua.

“You’ll never know what our camping experience with you has done for us and our daughter. She learned so much and gained so much more understanding for people’s differences and how to handle them.”
