DescriptionAt home and at camp, we want to communicate to youth that we can glorify Christ in everything we do. An LOMT summer camp experience at Camp Lone Star creates an intentional Christian community submersing participants in Christian values facilitated by a Christ-centered staff. Camp Lone Star’s 2010 theme is “Mighty to Save,” and is based on Zephaniah 3:17 which says: “The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Our God is mighty not just to save His people from battles and struggles in this world, but He mightily saves us from the death that sin brings and gives us victory and freedom in Christ Jesus our Lord. Colossians 3:13-15 tells of this mighty love and power as it states: “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” Details
