Summer Circles at Saint Joseph College is a summer academic program for high school girls that offers immersive courses of study, a focus on leadership, engaged and talented staff, a diverse student group and plenty of time for fun and social activities. This summer we offer 3 one-week sessions, and girls may attend for the day or reside on campus. Girls choose one class on which to focus for the whole session our academic tracks are listed to the right. No matter what course a student attends, she has plenty of opportunities to get to know all the Summer Circles students and staff.
Saint Joseph College is nestled on a beautiful, residential 84-acre campus in West Hartford, Connecticut. The College was founded in 1932 by the Sisters of Mercy to provide higher education opportunities for women, and today it is consistently cited on the national level for the quality of its academic programs
As Saint Joseph College has evolved into a vibrant educational complex, it has never strayed from its original vision: that is, its commitment to preparing women for insightful leadership. We bring this critical aspect of our college mission to our summer program as well. In addition to their chosen course, all Summer Circle girls benefit from leadership sessions.
Please review the Academic Tracks for more details about the courses and activities. We hope to see you this summer!
