FCCJ Summer Camp programs span arts, aviation, camping, a free personal finance camp, gospel music, robotics, and yeah, even sports! New programs still being added.
The Florida Community College at Jacksonville Summer Camps program continues to grow. Camps are available for boys and girls as young as five, up to age 18 (ages vary by camp). Unique, popular favorites such as the Aviation Science and Math Camp and the Crime Scene Investigator Camp will be returning and are expected to fill up fast.
The Nassau County Wilderness Adventure Camp offers an opportunity to experience archery, canoeing and the environment. A five-night, six-day camping trip to the Smoky Mountains, as an extension to the on-site Nassau-Center based camp is available at additional cost.
Truly savvy students will be interested in the Personal Finance Summer Camp, designed for students interested in careers in Finance (and in being rich?) — and in saving money. This four-day camp for 14– to 18–year-olds is FREE. Campers bring their own lunches.
There is even a Gospel Choir Summer camp in which students study not only choral singing and music theory; they can also explore educational and career opportunities in the world of music.
Camp dates, costs, locations and age ranges vary.
