A long, long time ago in a city only three hours away, the University of Illinois at Galesburg began a highly specialized program in competitive sports: the University of Illinois Gizz Kids. The man who was the catalyst in this proactive movement in wheelchair sports was Timothy J. Nugent (affectionately known as Sarge-uh). Adults of all ability levels will be engaged with challenging drills and competition with 18 hours of instruction over three days. Fighting Illini Adult Tennis Camp participants will be introduced to stroke techniques, singles and doubles strategy, and given the opportunity to reinforce what they've learned during open drilling sessions. Each camper will receive a video analysis by the camp director covering their groundstrokes and serve technique. Also, participants will have the opportunity to play with and against the camp directors and staff during the social mixer at the end of the second day.
