September means the April course in reverse, still featuring those same
spectacular mountain views and just a little bit less distance! Your two trail
course starts at the Catalina State Park trailhead and travels the Canyon Loop
(counterclockwise) and Nature Trail (clockwise), but this time you get to go
down the "92 Stair Climb" and avoid the sand of the Bridal Trail! Terrain consists
of desert mountain trails and creeks, all with mostly moderate climbs and
descents. Elevation ranges from 2799 to 3008 feet. 8.5 miler for runners only.

The old west comes alive every summer in Frontier Village. Campers can experience reenacted gun fights,hike up to the top of Bean Peak,and pan for gold. Sleeping in teepees, shooting an arrow, or downing a thick hand scooped shake from One Eye Jack's snack shop is all part of this camp experience. Then there's the "normal" stuff like swimming, crazy fun music, ziplines, canoeing, challenging lessons, town time and camp grub. It all adds up to a camp experience that lasts a life time.
